Nara Prefecture International Citizens Center
On the 1st of April 2013 Nara prefecture opened the “Nara Prefecture Intenational Citizens Center” in order to further support the lives of foreign residents in Nara, and to increase the level of international exchange in the local community. The center provides information and consultation services in various languages and dispatching Coordinators of International Relations for events. The center offers support services for international students as well as promotes international exchange.
The Center is close to the “Regional Support Office for Asia and Pacific of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)”, and runs an “International Exchange Salon” at the same location.
We welcome all Japanese citizens interested in international exchange, foreign residents in the area, and those who are interested in supporting foreign residents. Please feel free to drop by during our center hours.
